Iron Maiden est un groupe de heavy metal emblématique originaire de Leyton, à l'est de Londres, formé en 1975 par le bassiste et principal compositeur Steve Harris. Pionniers de la New Wave of British Heavy Metal, ils ont marqué l'histoire du métal avec des albums cultes tels que 'The Number of the Beast', qui a propulsé le groupe vers une renommée internationale grâce à la voix puissante de Bruce Dickinson, arrivé en 1981. Leur musique, riche en mélodies et en riffs énergiques, s'inspire de diverses influences allant du hard rock classique aux légendes de la littérature et de l'histoire. Iron Maiden, avec leur mascotte iconique Eddie, est reconnu non seulement pour leur son unique mais aussi pour des performances scéniques mémorables. Les albums tels que 'Killers' et 'The Number of the Beast' restent des références incontournables, témoignant de leur impact durable sur la scène metal.
