Madball est un groupe emblématique de hardcore américain originaire de New York, formé à la fin des années 1980. Initialement né comme un projet parallèle d'Agnostic Front, Madball a rapidement gagné en notoriété après que Freddy Cricien, le demi-frère du chanteur d'Agnostic Front Roger Miret, ait pris le micro lors des concerts. Après la séparation d'Agnostic Front en 1992, Madball est devenu le projet principal de ses membres. Leur musique intense et énergique, fortement influencée par le punk rock et le hardcore, a marqué le paysage musical de l'époque. Des albums tels que
